Are you new to Medicare?
Do you plan to keep working?
Would you like us to review your existing Medicare plan?
Whether you are new to Medicare or you want us to review your existing Medicare plan, we look forward to helping you understand which Medicare plan is the best plan for you, and why.
If you are getting inundated with mailings from various Medicare healthcare companies, you more than likely feel overwhelmed. No need to worry. We would be happy to help you wade thru all the complexities of the different Medicare plans available.
When you initially enroll in Medicare there are a couple choices you will need to make.
Do you want Medicare Part A & Part B? If you or your spouse are still working and you have medical coverage thru either of your employers you can choose to only get Medicare Part A. Part B can be delayed until you no longer have employer insurance. (there are no penalties for a delayed Part B enrollment because your employer insurance is considered qualifying insurance).
Even though your employer insurance may be lower than the Part B $185.00 monthly premium it may be cheaper to give up your employer health plan and get on Medicare Part A & B all at once. I can do an evaluation for you to help you determine which way is the best value and gives you the best coverage.
There are two (2) steps you will need to take to enroll in Medicare.
STEP 1 – Call Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 and request to have a Medicare card sent to you. Social Security will mail you a Medicare card. It doesn’t matter if you are currently collecting Social Security. (They are the government dept. that issues Medicare cards.) Your new Medicare card will include an effective date for Medicare Part A and Part B unless you specify you only want to enroll in Medicare Part A. Please understand you can only enroll in a Medicare Insurance plan if you enroll in Medicare Part A and Part B and you have a Part A and Part B effective date on your new Medicare card.
STEP 2 – Once you have your Medicare card please call me to schedule an appointment. I will go over Medicare 101 with you and within 15 minutes of us meeting you will understand why I will recommend a Medicare Advantage plan or possibly a Supplement with separate Prescription Drug Plan. If you choose me as your Medicare Insurance agent I’m available to become your secondary customer service person to help you in addition to the insurance companies customer service dept.
Please remember this vital point. STEP 2 has two choices and you can only choose one or the other.
Choice #1– Enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan that includes hospitals, Drs. & Prescription drug coverage
or
Choice #2– Enroll in a Medicare Insurance Supplement plus a separate Prescription Drug plan.
Some Medicare Advantage plans have $0 monthly premiums and you only pay small copays for medical services. Unlike employer health plans they have no deductibles. They do have Maximum out of pocket amounts that I can easily explain.
Based on how often you’ve been overnight in the hospital the last several years I will recommend either a Medicare Advantage plan or a Medicare Supplement and a Prescription Drug Plan.
If you are already enrolled in Medicare Part A & B and you are only on original Medicare, PLEASE CALL ME.
This is usually a lack of understanding and education of how Medicare works for you. You are already paying the $185.00 Part B Medicare premium but you never progressed to STEP 2 and enrolled in a Medicare insurance plan. This leaves you exposed to 20% of the costs of a major operation. If instead you let me help you sign up for a $0 monthly premium Medicare Advantage plan you would only pay a small copay for that same operation or medical procedure. Plus, you would have many additional benefits you don’t have with just original Medicare.
Based on your circumstances, our goal is to help you choose a plan with the most benefits possible, while still minimizing your monthly premiums and out of pocket expenses.
We would like to be your Medicare insurance agent for life. Once you become our client, we want you to look at us as your local support team for all things Medicare related.
Each fall and throughout the year we are available to review your plan. Anytime you have questions about whether you are enrolled in the best Medicare Plan for your circumstances, we can help you answer that question.

Our goal with Medicare is to assist you in obtaining all the benefits you are entitled to based on your circumstances. We consider it a privilege to serve you and/or your family with ALL your Medicare needs.
Since 2018 our company has been helping Seniors nearing retirement with their Medicare insurance needs. To better serve our customers over the years we have expanded into retirement income planning and other solutions customized for each individual or couple who choose to work with us.
Prior to moving to Claremont, N.H. in April of 2024, in February 2014 I moved back to Connecticut to help care for my aging mother Phyllis. She is currently 88 years old and lives in an apartment in a newly renovated building on Broad St. that also houses our company offices. She is doing well for her age. Helping Seniors with their Medicare decisions is a core focus of the retirement planning process.
11 years ago, I decided to move back to Connecticut to help care for my aging mother. My mom Phyllis is currently 87 years old and doing well for her age. After arriving back to Ct. I started a new career in group health medical insurance. My Mom eventually asked me for help with her high-cost Medicare Supplement insurance and the Prescription Drug plan she was enrolled in.
Researching how I could help my mom is how I became a Medicare agent. After a consultation with a Medicare agent referred by a friend, I found out my mom was overpaying for her Medicare coverage based on her low income. By switching from a Supplement and separate Prescription Drug plan to a Medicare Advantage plan that worked along with the State of Ct. Medicaid my mom was able to save almost $500 per month. And from that point forward she had no copays for medical services or prescriptions.
The same company that helped my mom encouraged me to become a Medicare insurance agent so I did. And ever since I love putting money back in Seniors pockets that qualify for the Medicare Savings Program

Medicare Savings Program (MSP)
If your monthly income is low, I would recommend an evaluation to see if you qualify for the Medicare Savings Program. Whether single or married, if your income is below a certain level the State of New Hampshire or whichever State you live in may pay the $185.00 Part B premium paid to (CMS) Center for Medicare Services. And if your income is low enough you may not have any copays for all medical services including Prescription Drugs.
Many Seniors don’t know that if their individual or married income is below a certain level, they may qualify for the Medicare Savings Program in the respective State they currently live in. Please contact me and I’m happy to do an evaluation at no charge to see if you qualify. When my Mom qualified for this over 11 years ago she saved almost $500 per month on her Medicare costs.
If your single or married income is below a certain level, the State of New Hampshire or whichever State where you live may pay the $185 Part B Medicare premium that we all pay to the Center for Medicare Services (CMS). If your income is low enough you may not have any copays for the hospital, Drs., and all other medical services including Prescription Drugs.
Each State offers financial assistance to eligible enrollees through The Medicare Savings Program. Some states are only concerned with recurring monthly income and don’t care about assets. Others allow only a limited amount of assets. I’m happy to examine your circumstances and can determine if you qualify in your State.
We have found that many older seniors in their late 60’s, 70’s and even 80’s are not aware that they qualify for The Medicare Savings Program. Over the years we have helped many low-income seniors get approved and have their Part B monthly premiums added back to their Social Security income. This is especially true after the death of a spouse when they lose one of their Social Security incomes and their previously married income is now one income.
